What is Hot Forging?

Hot forging is a manufacturing process that forms metal components under high temperatures, enhancing their mechanical properties. By heating metals beyond their recrystallization temperature, hot forging improves the material’s ductility and eliminates internal stresses, making it suitable for forming complex and large-scale parts.
This process is ideal for producing components requiring high strength, such as gears, shafts, and connecting rods, commonly used in automotive, heavy machinery, and aerospace industries. Hot forging also ensures consistent grain structure, resulting in improved durability and load-bearing capacity, making it a cost-effective solution for demanding applications.
